Designed for demanding marine environments, the UNS-VA/SB1-VA52 is a single-level float switch crafted from stainless steel (stem, housing and coupling are 1.4571 CrNi) and engineered specifically for bilge monitoring without a built-in test function. With a ball float of ? 52 mm (VA52) and a maximum operating pressure of 10?bar, it reliably senses liquid levels in applications such as shipbuilding, yacht-building and sewage treatment. The device features a protection class of IP67, a minimum fluid specific gravity of 0.70 g/cm3, and is mounted via a holding bracket. It offers cable lengths of 2 m (standard), 5 m or 10 m with ship- or marine-grade cable, and contact options including normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) or change-over (WE) rated up to 250 V AC/DC / 3.0 A / 100 W (or 140 V / 1 A for the change-over contact). With a rugged design and approvals from GL, BV and RMRS (with ABS, LR and RINA available on request), it provides dependable level sensing in harsh conditions while keeping the installation and maintenance profiles minimal.
