The new FX5S CPU brings the powerful yet easy-to-use iQ-F compact controllers to budget conscious customers with its built-in Ethernet and I/O, simple functionality, and low price point. It is the perfect product for customers who need to modernize from serial to Ethernet while keeping costs down. FX5S CPUs are available for AC power and in 30, 40, 60 I/O point models.

 

iQ-F Series FX5S CPU Module Features

  • Built-in Ethernet: Communicate to other devices via TCP/IP, Modbus/TCP, PLC to PLC communication, or CC-Link IE Basic. Includes web server and FTP functions.
  • Built-in Webserver: Allows any web-enabled device to connect to the PLC and check status and information through customized web pages or standard system web pages.
  • Built-in CC-Link IE Basic: Easy and reliable cyclic communication to HMI, VFD, servo, and remote I/O.
  • Optional SD Card Interface: Store logging data, read/write program and parameters, and password protect data. Store customized web pages for web server function. Update CPU firmware.
  • Parameter Setup Wizards: Easily configure Ethernet, analog, and high-speed I/O functions through graphical parameter selections.

  • Program memory: 48 k steps
  • Built-in Ethernet Port: 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX
  • Built-in USB connector: Mini-B (Data transfer speed: Max. 12 Mbps)
  • Built-in positioning: 4 axes 100 kHz pulse output
  • Built-in high-speed counter: 4 ch 100 kHz + 4 ch 10 kHz high speed pulse input
